Kaus is an insurance company that is branching out into B2C. They are interested in creating a digital product that focuses on easy navigation for their young adult consumers.
About Me
I am a D.C.-based UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) designer with a background in marketing and communications. I’ve been lucky enough to experience a little bit of everything in the marketing and communications world. After four years, I decided to expand my horizons and try something new. That’s how I started venturing into UI/UX.
My professional experiences greatly influenced my decision to follow through with UI/UX. I took my favorite parts of the jobs I held in the past, and lo and behold, UI/UX came very close to what I imagined my “perfect” job would be. It is fun and creative. It is reasonable and practical. The best part is getting to understand your product’s users on a more personal level than general marketing and communications would. It seemed to strike the perfect balance.
Studying UI/UX solidified my fascination with that career path and made me more confident in the skills I bring from my past experiences. I am building this portfolio to pursue my desire to refine the skills I gained from my studies and continue to build on my knowledge and experiences.
